AGILE: Algebraic Geometry In Louisiana---East

We are organizing the first of a continuing series of regional conferences in algebraic geometry. Algebraic geometers and researchers in related areas are invited from any location, and especially from Louisiana.

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM A. Vitter, Tulane: "Questions about vector bundles on grassmannians and on hypersurfaces"
2:00 PM - 2:30 PM Break (coffee and refreshments)
2:30 PM - 3:30 PM Z. Teitler, SLU: "Introduction to multiplier ideals"

All talks will be in Fayard Hall, room 207.

Directions:

The conference will be held in Room 207 of Fayard Hall at Southeastern Louisiana University. SLU is in Hammond, Louisiana, at the intersection of highways I-12 and I-55.

Registration:

There will be no registration fee, or "formal" registration. If you are interested in attending, please email Z. Teitler at zteitler@selu.edu so we can estimate attendance and send further information. We are unable to provide travel support.

Parking:

Parking is free anywhere on campus on Saturdays.
