Abstract Algebra

Using algebraic geometry to find the two lines that meet four given lines. Three of the given lines lie in one ruling of a quadric surface; the two sought lines are the lines of the other ruling through the points where the fourth given line intersects the surface.

An introduction to computational algebra and algebraic geometry, focusing on ideals and Gröbner bases, affine varieties, and algorithms for computing with them.
